Wedding Invitation Wording — Choose Your Words Carefully!
Wedding invitation wording is an immensely useful tool to help you choose the correct and appropriate words for weddings on the invitation card. These few chosen words convey your sentiments to your guests before the wedding. Therefore, you must be very selective about what you put on the invitations. The wordings that you choose can be simple or embellished according to your personal taste.
Choosing the wedding invitations wording is a very personal matter; it depends entirely on one's condition. For example, if a person is getting married for the second time, he may include the names of his children from first marriage in the invite. If one of the parents is no more, a word late may be added before the name of that parent in the invitation, or just the name of the other parent may be included. There are no fixed pattern that one has to follow while writing the matter on the invite.
Wording of the invitation is what everyone would be going through to form an image of the forthcoming event. Be precise and accurate and avoid ambiguities. As a rule it is better to be clear and accurate than leave things to the reader’s imagination.
The font and style of the invitations should be well coordinated with the design of the place cards and guest books to maintain uniformity. While selecting the font keep in mind the word count so that everything is adjusted well and looks good. Besides matching the color of the letters, borders and ink make sure that there is enough spacing between the letters to make it clear.
